Projects I Loved Making: Day 2

May 18, 2016

This is another item I really enjoyed making. It was designed for a wonderful friend and Sister in my church. She and I have similar tastes in fashion and we both love headbands.

I crocheted it with Red Heart Super Saver yarn, I forget the exact color but it is readily available and the pattern was simple double crochets long enough to fit the circumference of her head. I think was makes this headband so beautiful is the flower and button in the center. It has a cute picot edging that makes it stand out.

I found the buttons in a yard sale a couple years back and I was able to buy a bag of them for about .99. I loved the design of them and it looked like it was made for this item.
