October Crochet/Knit Lookbook

November 10, 2016

Well, I finally got done with some projects to do a Lookbook post today! YAY! I love when I get to the end of an item and it turns out the way I hoped. So here's the lineup for October:

Soft twist Crochet hat (left side), (pattern by naztazia.com). I altered my hat from the pattern in how I seamed it, adding just one large pom pom on top and three buttons on the side for decoration. On sale in my Etsy shop.

Soft twist Crochet Hat (right side), I love the yarn I used for this pattern which was Caron Cakes. The yarn gradually changes colors creating a unique design in the end.
Knitted Cap, (pattern by Wool and the Gang) my first real finished item with knitting needles. I topped the hat with a pom pom of course! And I knitted the hat with two strands as one to make it a bit thicker.

I used Joann's "Big Twist" yarn for the hat. I love the softness of its texture.
Loom Knitted Garter Stitch Hat. I haven't abandoned my looms, so when I was in between these other projects, I worked on this hat. No pattern was followed. I just knitted every round until it was done. On sale in my Etsy shop.

You know me, no hat is quite complete without a pretty, fluffy pom pom!
Crochet Mobius Wrap (pattern by Naztazia.com), front view. I love this easy pattern. I made this one for myself size L/XL. The yarn I used was again Caron Cakes. I was able to make this wrap + the cap with just one skein of that yarn. Soft too!

It's long enough to wear as a hoodie too.

And, if I want to wear it as an infinity scarf, that's possible too!

Also it can be wrapped around twice to wear as an infinity cowl.

Chunky Knitted Cowl. This was a quick knit project! Made from Loops & Threads Chunky Luxe yarn and with some really big knitting needles! I took a close-up so you can really see how large the stitches are! On sale in my Etsy shop.

I didn't do as many projects this month as I typically do and that's because I'm trying to listen to my body more and not overdo it. I'm really happy to finish items rather than have a bunch of open projects that sometimes remain unfinished.

Projects I'm working on now are my checkboard knitted blanket (once I buy more yarn), a knitted super scarf and another knit scarf that I'm almost finished with. Also, I'm crocheting more mobius wraps in different colorways so can't wait to show you those once I'm done!

Until next time... chao!
