Yummy Chocolate Waffles

Breakfast, brunch, or even dessert...chocolate waffles are welcomed in my house. I grew up loving them. A lot of times for breakfast, just one waffle is all I need. And yes, bring on the chocolate baby! Easy to make too :) Love recipes like this!

Ingredients:
3 tbsp. butter
1- 3/4 c. sifted flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 c. chocolate milk
Chopped nuts
1- 1/2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
1/3 c. sugar
3 eggs, well beaten
Cherries, whipped cream (optional)

Heat your waffle iron. Melt chocolate and butter together and set aside while you mix dry ingredients together. Stir in eggs, then chocolate and milk. Stir until smooth. Pour onto heated waffle iron and cook as usual. Remove waffle carefully and place on serving plates. Then optionally, top with cherries and whipped cream or chocolate syrup.
