A Pattern a Day: Shiplap Slouch Hat

September 17, 2017

This is Day 2 of "A Pattern a Day" and today is a really cute hat! I love slouchies! They're great to wear when your hair is in a bun or ponytail, which I wear a lot, and yet still look stylish! When I saw this pattern on Pinterest, I really wanted to share it. It calls for the herringbone stitch which is very pretty and easy to learn.

The pattern calls for a light #3 weight yarn. I think the new Vanna's Style yarn would be perfect. I found some at my local store the other day and I got to feel it, it's very soft. Anything I make for wearing, I want the piece to be soft. This hat can be worked up in a day making it a quick way to get a last minute gift in.

Click on the image above or link below to get the pattern from Little Monkey's Crochet. By the way, she has some really nice patterns so check her out!
