Crochet Lookbook: Upcoming Slouchy Hats Collection for Sale

October 10, 2017

It's been a LONG, LONG time since I've done a lookbook, but let me tell ya I've been very busy making! I'm gearing up for the Winter so my little studio has been working hard making scarves and my new collection of "Crochet Slouchy Hats"! Two of the hats are my own design! I'm super duper excited.

They will be coming to my local arts center for sale ($25 ea.) in November. I wanted to give you guys a sneak peak of them. And what's more, the pattern is so simple, so easy, and so fast that I was able to whip up 2 hats per day! That's mega fantastic for a girl who works a full time job, co-owns a business, and has an active church ministry!

I needed an item that I could complete quicker because while I love garment making, it takes a longer time and in my case even longer. I found myself becoming discouraged because I couldn't see the end in sight. But not with my new hat design! So, enough of me rambling, let's get to the lookbook (thanks to hubby for taking the pics from all 4 sides! Click on any image for a larger view):

Also, I got some scarves coming too and they are knitted! YES indeed! I've really been practicing my knitting and getting better plus I'm really enjoying it now. One of my biggest problems as a maker is wanting to learn a technique or pattern and master it right away. It doesn't work that way. Another thing I've been loving is adapting knitting into crochet. The last row of my white ribbed hat above uses this technique.

And don't worry if you're no where near Florence, Oregon... I got you covered, because I'm making more slouchies and scarves for my Etsy store! It will reopen mid-November so look for that upcoming announcement. I'm so excited for this new collection and I hope you'll purchase a hat or scarf ! All of them are made with a lot of love :)

More news coming...stay tuned...
