How Do You Want to be Remembered?

When I wrote this post about leaving a legacy a few months ago, I admit I was thinking of my own life and what I have done with it. And for some reason today I was thinking about it again. How do I want to be remembered? Have I done enough to help another person? Has my walk inspired anyone? Am I a good roll model?

It's hard today to find that certain someone who we can look up to. We all have flaws and faults. I don't want to hide my weaknesses but what I don't want to do is embrace them. Those traits I really want to turn into a positive. The only way I know how to be a good person is to allow Jesus to live through me before other people. I'm not perfect, but He is. It's hard to love at times and it's hard to stay joyful but allowing Him to govern me makes it easier.

I often have these philosophical conversations with myself because I am a deep thinker. I have daydreamed what life would be like if I was just an observer and not a participator. I would like to see that I left something good behind that my friends and family would have as long lasting memories.

So, this is a short post today, it's more like me talking off the top of my head! I want to strive to do better, I want to make a difference in my little world, I want to fulfill God's call for my life and use the gifts He's given to me and I'd like to believe that I've made a few people smile.
