Springy Salad Ideas to Start the Day


Even in the winter time I love a fresh salad. It's like an artist palette to me. I can dress it up anyway I like with what ingredients I have on hand. I can design a savory salad with fish or chicken or make a fruit salad with berries and citrus fruits. In this post, I'm borrowing food pics from my blog, "Flavors of Delight". I feel so bad that I've neglected that blog but that's another story for another post! LOL!


Add juicy sweet tomatoes, cheese, pesto and serve it with toast and wow what a brunch idea!


Eating healthy doesn't have to mean that you have to eat boring, bland foods. In fact, I don't think you have to sacrifice flavor just to feel like you're losing unwanted fat. In fact, salads fill me up like any meal.

I've been weaning myself off sugar for about a month and I can tell a difference in my cravings. I'm not missing the desserts as much as I thought I would. In fact, I was thinking it would be impossible to do. But, my tummy is thanking me when that skirt doesn't fit tight!
